We went on a little road trip up the California state 1, My special friend Ellen Patrick aka the Domino Lady want to go see Roge Mckane in San Francisco but first Ellen want to stop little furniture store in Bakersfield at buying new writing desk and office chair for me since my office was shot up late Tuesday. She also had planned little wine tour in Napa Valley. As I was driving her car when she was trying to sleep at 11 pm, She car overheated a few mile east of Barstow. this summer California was struggling with major drought. I noise to wake up sleeping beauty in the back seat. Ellen lifted up the car and saw her radiated overheating. So we walked two miles to a pay phone to for tow truck. I noticed in the neon light in the distance was a sign of a hotel. I told Ellen to want I saw, she agrees we need to stop for the need. Ellen had to slap herself to still awake until the tow truck came and offer us ride to the hotel.As we pulled into the hotel, Ellen and I looked at each other with an expression of dread on both faces. This hotel sign was call hotel California. As Ellen and I were greeted by the owner of the hotel Mrs. Vivian Demoray. I was enjoying the Victorian Gothic architecture. Vivian was handing candleholder to lit the way to the front. Ellen and I gave the fake name of Jack and Jane Morrison. Ellen and I could fight back the effect of sleep any longer. when entered the room, we collapsed on a king size. We heard the mission bell rung but we were tried to care. I had that I was both heaven and hell in my dream. We did not awake until 1pm the next day. We escorted to the dining hall by the owner Vivian. Ellen notices all the pretty handsome men in crisp fresh uniforms. I notice the tables by the big bay window was having a problem with cutting the wild boar with best steely knives. ellen order the salmon and roasted veggies and I order the t-bone steak well done with a baked potato. We heard live music was going to play in the back courtyard at 9pm to midnight, so Ellen thought was good to dance after a hard week working stakeout and raids five days straight. She mentioned that Vivian staff was all men but the little pale for her taste. After lunch, We went to our room to made called to her friend Roge To tell him about the delay until Wednesday while she gets the car fix.She orders a bottle of pink champagne on ice and two glasses. Ellen needs a drink to wash away the feeling of dread. She noticed the dread on my face too. We ate dinner and went to our room to get a dress for dancing tonight. Ellen was wearing a cream off-white cocktail with stocking and best strappy heels. We enter the courtyard at the band played. The music was very entrancing. Elle looking at me with a very approving look. I was dressed all in black. I remember her she pick out my outfit for tonight.We dance and drinking the night. She orders a bottle of wine from the captain of the wine steward. When the wine arrived at our table. The captain commented this wine was the best 1929 napa red wine. At midnight we return to our room to only awaken by screams of all our guest. Ellen and I suit up, Our quick changed into ours working clothes. she reappeared as the Domino lady. I put on my fines black suit and put on my red shade goggles became Red Shade. We investigate the guest room to notice pools of blood flowing from the neck. Ellen and I had some idea and say it to together the word vampires. With all the staff being pale, they most need to lives. We went and around shooting all the hotel staff with our gun. to our shock and surprised our bullet have no effect. So I start to lit a table leg to make a weapon. I explain to the domino Lady that vampire hate fires. We made a mad dash to lit the hotel of fire. With all of our guest dead and the hotel was fire. Domino Lady grabs car keys. We made our way to the parking lot. She tries every car until it opens the Mercedes-Benz. luck for us we have few changes of clothing in her trunk of she at the garage. In the morning we trader the mechanic the Mercedes-Benz for her car to make the rest of the way to San Francisco.
